Brocklesby Recreation Reserve Management Committee
The Brocklesby Recreation Reserve is owned by the local council and managed on a day-to-day basis by a dedicated volunteer committee. This committee works closely with various user groups, including sporting organisations, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
The Recreation Reserve features a well-maintained football and cricket oval, two modern hard-surfaced netball courts, and six high-quality synthetic tennis courts. Families will enjoy the fully enclosed playground, which includes an engaging sculpture of the famous piggy back landing, as well as a smaller play area with swings conveniently located near the courts.
Nestled among fields tended by dedicated volunteers and local farmers, the reserve provides a welcoming haven for enjoying sporting events, taking peaceful dog walks on non-sporting days, or hosting memorable private gatherings (learn more on our Facility Hire page).
The Recreation Reserve Management Committee is grateful to receive council support for mowing four times a year, with dedicated volunteers handling maintenance the rest of the time. If you’d like to join this enthusiastic and engaged committee, please don’t hesitate to reach out by contacting the Brocklesby Focus Group at brocklesbyfocusgroup@gmail.com.
